The Strathmore Young Artists Market is organized by local community members to support youth creativity and entrepreneurial experience. This event is currently run as a volunteer project and is not for profit.

Why a market for the youth of Strathmore?

Markets are an amazing opportunity to acknowledge artists and let them experience the appreciation that the public has for their hard work. I know this first hand - my two daughters have sold their artwork at a few markets, which has encouraged them to produce more. I want to give them the best environment to be able to continue focusing on developing their individual styles and creating beauty for the world.

Not everyone has the support they need to become great artists, so this market is a great chance for the next generation in Strathmore to join the artisan community and discover what they can become.
